This print has traveled with me through countless reprints and iterations for more than 10 years and I have been so pleased to watch quilters all over the globe enjoy incorporating this fabric into many different styles of quilts. While the birth of this Echinacea Quilt design came almost a decade later, I relied upon the same basic architecture of the flower to create an applique block that begins with a patchwork stem set into opposite points of a square.
